I don't remember a time when I haven't been drawing. I was graduated from the Parsons School of Design in New York in 1988 with a BFA in Illustration and Design. I have always loved reading a story and trying to put just the right illustrations to it. Maybe because I love to read! When I left college, computer graphics were still a thing of curiosity. I pretty much had to go back to school again (at nights and on weekends!) to learn that new world! And I discovered that I really, really love to illustrate on the computer. It really allows me to be playful with my art. My husband is a guitarist, and my mother was a professional pianist so I've always been fascinated by musicians and love to illustrate them. I love their heart and their spirit. It takes courage to get up on a stage and perform! Of course, I also love watercolor and colored pencil too. After working for several years in publishing, as an Art Director, I am happy to be back to what I love the most...illustration.
